News: Planning Permission for new residence in Broomhill Conservation Area, Sheffield
Tom Crooks Architecture Ltd. has successfully obtained planning consent for the development of a new residential property in Broomhill, Sheffield. The residence is ancillary to the main residential property on the site, to provide independent accommodation for the elderly relatives of the Occupiers.
Working closely with Sheffield City Council Planning Department, we have been able to develop a design that is sympathetic to the conservation area, through the use of natural, traditional materials, while also incorporating contemporary design, forms and spaces that will enhance the quality of the spaces in the property, while also enabling the design to respond to the North facing and over-shadowed location of the dwelling and to increase natural light internally.
